Cover Types part 2

Early Magazine Covers- The early magazine covers look ancient like they didn't the time to actually take the picture. Its just an object in front of a magazine cover. They look very old and where someone wouldn't want to read them. Some of the covers have way to much writing which tell the whole story and some doesn't have a picture which makes it look like a document.

The Poster Cover- these covers doesn't have words to explain whats going on in the magazine, and the picture covers the whole page. These photo covers are very formal in which you know the photographer tells them to do a certain way and they seem to match the title of the magazine

Pictures Married To Type- some of the pictures are drawn which make them easier to be noticed, i noticed that all of the magazines have women on the cover and they seem like they're smiling. The women are posing a certain way

Portrait & Self Portrait

Self Portrait

Favorite Portrait

Formal Portrait
In this photo, the reason why its formal is because the photographer is telling the person how to pose.

Informal Portrait
This photo is informal because the kids are clearly showing that they are having fun with the picture, theres no one telling them how to pose or act.

Environmental Portrait
This photo shows that its environmental because he's in his environment, he's comfortable but yet still taking the picture.

I think to make a good portrait you have to be clear about the photo, meaning don't be scared to show what the photo is about. Second, try taking a portrait from a different angle instead of the same place. A good portrait needs good lighting and good structure.

I am more of portrait type of person because i know that i can tell someone else how to pose and being on the other side of the camera can better show which way i want the picture.

Super Bowl 2013 Ads

  1. There are 15 ads on the website
  2. I think the funniest was the " Taco Bell " ad because i think that the old people
  3. The " Go Daddy ; Perfect Match " because it was the dumbest commercial
  4. The best was the "Budweiser " because it was heartwarming for many.
  5. Out of 2 commercials , I think the Budweiser & the taco bell is gonna be talked about the most because they stuck out the most and was alittle heartwarming.
  6. I believe the worst ad was the Samsung one because i didn't really find it all that interesting.
  7. The M&M commercial was the worst because i don't see what the point was about it.

1. $3.8 - $40 million for a 30 second commercial
2. 111.4 million viewers on average
3. approaching 50 minutes
4. lets the company have “a much longer conversation” with consumers

Red, Metal, & Grumpy

 Red ; Lines.
I believe that the subject would be LINES because it clearly shows the lines in the photo. This photo implies that the lockers are clearly red. Yes, my photo is clear to other people that its meant to be red lockers. The only difference that I could've dome was probably gotten a better shot at a different angle.

Grumpy ; Simplicity.
The subject for this photo would be simplicity because its shows the object is the center of the photo. This photo shows that Mr. Diaz wasn't very happy to take the picture, he was more in a grumpy mood. Yes, my photo shows that it was meant to be a grumpy face because of the way his eyes are droppy & by the way his smile wasn't showing. The difference  would be if i shot him from a closer perspective or at a certain angle.

Metal ; Rules Of Third
The subject for this photo would be Rules Of Third because from that certain angle you can see the difference than from the center of the photo. I don't think they'll see the photo as metal but more of an out
